Race.

In other news, our Lupo 3L is being shipped from Germany with love. 4000
euro was moved to an offshore account in the Netherlands as payment.
This was a lesson in why we ought to be voices for a strong dollar. The
day I made the transfer the dollar was at a 13 year low. Thus 4000
euro=6300 dollars. What luck!

The car should be delivered at the end of the month to Baltimore harbor.
Fortunately Mike Lisa, a good Italian by all accounts, has connections
at the docks. Otherwise our "import fees" might best be characterized as
prohibitive.

With respect to the Lupo, the only item remaining is to sweet talk the
EPA and DOT. I can't wait to wade through all the bureaucratic crap that
must be associated with something like vehicle importation. Especially
when the vehicle is leaps and bounds beyond anything in the country
today. Should make for an interesting story. Hopefully I won't be
talking to anybody who knows anything about vehicles.
