Here's some pictures from the vehicle tear down process. There's nothing like tearing the guts out of two running vehicles. Hopefully the overall idea works.
The first series of pictures is of the Honda Insight, it's power train (engine, electric motor, transmission). The second series of pictures is of the VW Lupo 3L engine. The basic idea is to put the Honda electric motor and transmission on the back of the VW engine and throw it in the Honda Insight.
