Makers of the adapters (transmission and crank) that allowed the Insight electric motor to be bolted up to the VW engine. Without these guys the Insight 1G would be a pipe dream and nothing else.

Tom Staub was formally trained as a tool and die maker. Over the years he has migrated into custom machine work to include design and fabrication. The journey started with custom bits for street rods and has taken him to strange destinations like piano repair. Advertising is word of mouth only so consider yourself lucky that you're reading this on the internet. With nearly 50 years in the machining business, Tom has seen just about everything there is to see regarding metal machining and repair. His work is premium US quality craftsmanship (like back when seeing Made in the USA on products was the rule and not the exception). If you've got a challenging metal job that you need done right you need to talk to Tom. His prices are too low and quality of work too high which means he's busy as hell but believe me, you're not going to get a better finished product anywhere else. Ask anyone within a 500 mile radius of Denver and they'll tell you the same thing. You're going to be in a long line but there's a damn good reason for it.
